"I found Bliss's website on TheKnot.com and as I began planning the menu for my August 2015 wedding with Susan, I was first struck by how flexible she was. It was a stark contrast to the caterers I had been talking with who wanted me to pick option 1, 2 or 3. Susan learned about the type of wedding we wanted, our vision and then she made the perfect menu for our day. Our sample dinner was so relaxing and flawless. Susan met with me for a site tour of our wedding venue and was not frightened away by its rustic challenges (hills, roots, limited electrical, access to water), instead, commented on what a special day we were planning and how excited she and her staff were to spend a day out at the camp with us. On the day of the wedding, Bliss operated seamlessly without the need for direction. They sent the passed hors d'oeuvres to our photo shoot location to keep the bridal party well fed and in good spirits, coordinated with our DJ to keep the day unfolding as planned, and packaged up some scrumptious leftovers! Bliss kept our wedding of 150 fed from appetizers to desserts and hydrated for 8 hours! Must try: crabcakes, corn and bean salad, baked macaroni and cheese. Thanks again Susan for your help! You guys totally rocked!"

"Bliss catering went above and beyond for our wedding. We live in Connecticut, so you can imagine how difficult it is trying to plan a wedding in a different state when your not there. Susan was very patient with us. I think I changed the menu three times. The selection of food to choose was just too good we couldn't decide. She responded to emails and phone calls in a very timely manner and when her staff arrived the day of, they were very professional and the food was amazing. One of the staff members actually had a plate of hors d'oeuvres ready for us to take for the car ride to the beach when we were having our pictures done after the wedding so we wouldn't miss out. My husband and I would definitely recommend Bliss for any occasion and I'm really hoping that I get to work with them again soon!!"

"Susan of Bliss Caterers, from day one was on board with what we needed ~ a small gathering of 70 people in March, to celebrate a new Grandchild arriving in May. Susan never failed to answer all my emails promptly, and occasionally we would schedule a phone conversation, which was always beneficial. Changing the menu here and there never seemed to bother her, and she was always willing to do anything we needed. On Celebration Day, Susan and staff arrived on time, and proceeded to prepare the food in a less than functional kitchen at the venue we chose, never complained, and by Open House Time, everything was all set to go. Towards the end, they cleaned up completely, and no one even would have guessed that they had been in the kitchen. Many thanks to Susan for a successful day. "Susan Jones, owner of Bliss Catering, made my daughter's wedding reception a very happy affair. Her barbeque chicken and ribs were very tasty and perfectly cooked. My sister told me that this is the first time she had loved the food at a wedding. The food was cooked on a grill right outside the building. Her clam chowder, corn, salads, and blueberry dessert were also first class. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the staff. They helped us put together a perfect menu, and made it easy even though we had a number of special requests. They worked with us and everything was just the way we wanted it. The staff came prepared and set everything up beautifully, even with the challenge of working in a small kitchen with no appliances – the appliances did not arrive in time for our open house! The food was delicious and everything was so fresh. I have to admit that my favorites were the scallops in bacon and the crab cakes. I would highly recommend Bliss Catering not only for the delicious food but also for the awesome staff!"
